Compared to the other songs that I have chosen for this album, He Said differs in several ways. First of all, it is a non-secular song about God/Jesus. Secondly, it only contains guitar and voice, because I cannot think of this song played with anything else. Lastly, it is one of the few songs that I’ve created that I wrote in direct response to something happening in my life- this time, it was an experience at church.
Here’s the first cut of it that I ever did, spontaneously on Facebook (I’m not sure if all can see this, please comment if there’s an issue):
As always, though I’ve not said this yet, please listen, download, comment, and give me some feedback! I want to make my first album as great as I possibly can. Thanks!
Okay, so this is what’s up with this one. It was a complete stream of consciousness writing and recording. Of course, this song needs to be re-recorded, but as far as I’m concerned, it’s great. It was exactly what I was thinking at the time, the music and words nearly fit together, etc.
So, please enjoy it in its work in progress state. It’s the latest recording for my album, due to be out near the end of January. See you guys around.

P.S. “Sine Nomen” is a rough Latin translation that means “Without Name,” or, as well all normally hear it, “Untitled.”
This is a song I wrote on the 8th of May last year, but just finished in the last week with additional verses and a more professional recording instead of just a youtube video. This is song #1 out of 10 that will be on the album Soma Cures 10 by OLT.
Here’s the original video, you can compare them if you like:
I have created a music project. This music project is mostly just myself recording and writing songs on my own, but if I can, I’m going to try to employ the talents of many random individuals that I know that have talents everywhere from strings, to vocal talents, to percussion and bass capabilities.
The first album is going to be called Soma Cures 10, based on the idea of Soma, the legal drug in Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World. Here’s the cover art:
And, in the same breath, let me introduce you to recorded song number 1, Oh Madeline:
So, since Christmas I’ve started to make some sick recordings on my computer because I’ve finally got the studio headphones I needed to make my recording process perfect. This is my first foray into the recording stuff, for real this time as opposed to my previous iffy recordings.
